Rest Alone Won’t Restore Stability
After a sprain, you might feel tempted to just rest and wait it out. But passive rest doesn’t fix the instability that’s now affecting how you move.
Once a ligament is overstretched, the surrounding muscles and movement patterns need to adapt, or you risk re-injury.
We help you retrain the affected joint, reduce pain, and rebuild neuromuscular control so you can trust your body again.
Whether it’s a Grade 1 ankle sprain or post-operative ACL recovery, we build your plan based on your injury, sport, and goals.

Questions About Ligament Sprain Rehab
How do I know how bad my sprain is?
We evaluate the joint’s range of motion, swelling, strength, and ability to bear weight or resist force. If needed, we’ll refer for imaging, but many sprains can be assessed and treated clinically.
Should I wear a brace?
Braces can help short-term, but they’re not a long-term fix. Our goal is to transition you from external support to internal stability through strength and motor control.
How long until I can return to activity?
That depends on the severity of your sprain. Mild sprains may heal in 2–3 weeks with rehab. Moderate to severe sprains can take longer. We’ll give you a timeline after your assessment and adjust as you progress.
What if I’ve had this sprain before?
Recurrent sprains are common, especially in ankles and knees. We target the cause, often poor proprioception, joint mechanics, or movement habits, and help you break the cycle.
Is this covered by insurance?
We operate outside of insurance so we can give you personalized, one-on-one care that focuses on results, not billing codes. Most clients find they need fewer sessions and get better faster with our approach.
Don’t Settle for Partial Recovery
A sprain doesn’t have to turn into a chronic problem. We help athletes, movers, and everyday active people across Denver recover fully and come back even stronger.
