Karen Wentz grew up in Noblesville, Indiana playing a variety of sports, but eventually focusing on ultimate frisbee and pickleball, in which she eventually played nationally. She attended the University of Indianapolis where she majored in Physical Therapy Assisting. During college, Karen developed a love for physique building and personal training which complimented her collegiate health interests.
Prior to beginning her world travels working as a Client Care Coordinator for RISE, Karen worked in outpatient physical therapy at Athletico Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Her passion and love for widespread knowledge of health and fitness inspired her to also become a Women’s Coaching Specialist alongside her full time work. Karen loves to provide knowledge and care to those she interacts with in order to help them feel more empowered and educated in their health journeys.
Karen has a strong passion in helping to organize and manage the first experiences of clients interested in RISE Rehabilitation and Sport Performance, who may be experiencing holdbacks from their physical activities. She believes that the unique and expert level orthopedic care being provided by the physical therapists, in combination with a transition to high-level exercise, is vital in helping people completely recover and continue to pursue their passions at the level that they aspire to. Karen is excited to bring a special knowledge in women’s health to the team that further expands on the healthcare that our clients receive.
In her down time, Karen enjoys challenging workouts, traveling to experience different parts of the world, socializing through a variety of sports, and reading good mysteries.
