It’s Not Just Your Back. It’s How You Move
Most back pain isn’t caused by one specific injury. It’s often the result of poor mechanics, muscular imbalances, or lack of stability.
If your core, hips, or glutes aren’t doing their job, your back picks up the slack.
That constant tightness or “locked up” feeling may be your body’s way of bracing to protect itself. But the longer that cycle goes on, the more restricted and painful your movements become. We break that cycle.
At RISE, we go beyond the spine. We look at how your entire body moves, stabilizes, and transfers load, so we can correct the patterns causing pain.

Questions We Hear About Back Pain
What causes back pain even when I didn’t injure myself?
Most back pain comes from repeated strain or poor movement patterns, not one big injury. Weak glutes, poor core control, or limited hip mobility can all contribute. We find those hidden causes and help you fix them.
Is lifting weights bad for my back?
Not if you’re doing it with proper form and progression. In fact, strength training can be one of the most effective ways to protect your back, if done right. We show you how to lift safely while building resilience.
Should I rest or stay active?
Staying active is almost always better than full rest, as long as you’re moving well. We help you modify movements and keep training in a way that supports healing, not delays it.
Do I need imaging before starting PT?
Not usually. Most of the time, we can assess and treat based on your symptoms and how you move. If we believe imaging is necessary, we’ll guide you through that process.
How long until I feel better?
That depends on how long you’ve had the pain and how consistent you are with treatment. Many clients feel noticeable relief in just a few sessions. Our goal is long-term change, not temporary relief.
You Don’t Have to Live Around Your Pain
Whether it’s been weeks or years, back pain doesn’t have to control how you move.
We help active adults, athletes, and professionals across Denver feel strong, stable, and free again, without fear or restriction.
