PHYSICAL THERAPY
Diagnosis
During our education we spend over 4000 hours learning examination and evaluation of musculoskeletal conditions. Further, RISE clinicians are among just 6% of PTs who hold recognition as orthopedic clinical specialists. All of this to say, we know the importance of a precise and timely diagnoses.
Movement Analysis
Movement analysis is crucial to identify dysfunctional movement patterns, muscular imbalances, and joint limitations. By gaining insights into how you move, we can personalize treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, stability, and overall movement efficiency for the sports and activities that matter to you.
Objective Testing
We leverage technology to gather accurate data to not only identify specific muscles or joint asymmetries, but also track your progress over time. This is a valuable tool for injury recovery and injury risk assessment.
Manual Therapy
Through targeted manual interventions, we are able to alleviate pain, improve joint mobility, and enhance tissue flexibility. Research indicates that the most effective injury recovery includes hands-on treatment for muscles and joints, coupled with personalized exercises to create long lasting improvements.
Joint Manipulation
Joint manipulation is a safe and effective tool to improve joint mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance overall functionality. These techniques are commonly used for headaches, chronic neck or back pain, shoulder issues, and acute injuries.
Dry Needling
This technique involves inserting thin needles into specific problematic muscles or around joints to stimulating a healing response. Dry needling can help release tension, reduce pain, activate dormant muscles and promote improved blood circulation in targeted areas.
Movement Retraining
This is the process of correcting and optimizing movement patterns to resolve pain, reduce the risk of injuries, and improve overall functional capabilities. This involves targeted exercises and interventions aimed at fostering healthier and more efficient ways of moving for better long-term physical well-being.
Exercise
Exercise is crucial for recovery and mitigating injury return. You will receive in-clinic exercise form instruction and an at-home program to continue exercises between sessions.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What will my first session be like, and what should I wear?
Your first appointment includes a friendly consultation, hands-on evaluation, and movement analysis tailored to you. We recommend wearing comfortable, non-restrictive athletic clothes and shoes so your PT can accurately assess your movement and address the root cause of your concerns.

No. Colorado allows direct access to physical therapy, which means you can start treatment right away without a physician’s referral.
