Why Rest Alone Won’t Fix It
Knee pain often comes with advice like “just take it easy,” but most of our clients have already tried that.
The pain comes back because the root problem was never addressed, whether it’s weakness in the hip or knee, an old sprain that changed your movement patterns, or improper loading versus recovery.
Pain at the front of the knee during squats, aching around the kneecap after runs, or sharp pain with stairs. All these point to movement imbalances, not just inflammation.
At RISE, we use movement analysis, strength testing, and hands-on care to correct what’s really going on.
You don’t have to keep guessing. We help you move better, not just feel better.

Questions We Hear About Knee Pain
Why does my knee hurt during squats or stairs?
It often comes down to how your femur and patella track during movement. Weakness in your hips, glutes, or core can shift alignment and force your knee to take the load unevenly. We assess these patterns in detail to treat the cause, not just the sore spot.
Do I need imaging before starting physical therapy?
Not always. Most of the time, we can evaluate and treat your knee effectively through movement testing and clinical insight. If needed, we’ll coordinate imaging or refer you to the right provider.
How long does it take to feel better?
You may notice some relief after the first visit. Most people begin seeing significant improvements in 2–4 sessions, depending on the cause and how long the issue has been present.
We focus on both short-term relief and long-term durability.
What if I’ve had surgery or a previous injury?
That’s exactly when physical therapy matters most. We help you restore mobility, rebuild strength, and return to high-level movement, whether it’s post-ACL repair, meniscus cleanup, or years after a past injury.
Stop Adjusting. Start Rebuilding.
You shouldn’t have to limit your workouts, avoid stairs, or hesitate on your next adventure.
At RISE, we help you get strong, stable, and confident again. Our movement-first approach gives you clarity and a path forward, without surgery, guesswork, or wasted time.
