Injured During a WOD? You’re Not Alone
CrossFit demands full-body effort, speed, and control, all under fatigue. If your body can’t manage one of those pieces, something gives. That doesn’t mean you’re broken. It just means something needs attention.
Most injuries happen when movement patterns break down or when volume increases faster than your body can adapt. Whether it’s an overuse issue, an old injury flaring back up, or something that hit mid-WOD, we can help.
We don’t just treat the pain. We fix the movement that caused it, so you come back stronger.

Questions We Hear From CrossFit Athletes
Should I stop working out if I’m in pain?
Not necessarily. We help you stay active by modifying movements and loading patterns to support healing. Most athletes can keep training with smart adjustments.
Is CrossFit dangerous?
Like any sport, CrossFit comes with risk, but the key is how you train. With smart scaling, strong mechanics, and recovery strategies, CrossFit can be safe and sustainable. We help you stay injury-resistant.
What kinds of CrossFit injuries do you treat?
We treat shoulder impingement, rotator cuff pain, low back strain, knee issues from squatting or jumping, wrist pain, hip impingement, and more. If it’s limiting your WOD or making you hesitate, we’ve seen it.
Will I lose progress while rehabbing?
No. Our rehab plans include modified training so you stay strong, conditioned, and consistent. Most athletes leave therapy stronger and more aware of their movement than when they started.
How soon can I return to full intensity?
That depends on the severity of the injury and how your body responds to treatment. Most athletes can return to full intensity in phases, with smart progressions designed for your body and goals.
Train Smarter. Recover Better.
CrossFit is tough on the body, but you don’t have to sit out or settle for lingering pain.
At Rise, we guide you through recovery with performance in mind. Whether you’re new to the gym or chasing PRs, we’ll help you stay in the game.
